\"lieu o\u00f9 le feu commence\", ce site arch\u00e9ologique est l'un des exemples les plus repr\u00e9sentatifs de la p\u00e9riode pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant l'apog\u00e9e de la seigneurie tarasconnaise. Ses structures combinent les influences de Teotihuacan et les traditions locales, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant la complexit\u00e9 culturelle de la r\u00e9gion avant la consolidation des Pur\u00e9pecha. Malgr\u00e9 son importance, les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences historiques sur Tingambato \u00e9taient rares jusqu'au milieu du XXe si\u00e8cle, lorsque les arch\u00e9ologues Rom\u00e1n Pi\u00f1a Chan et Kuniaki Ohi ont effectu\u00e9 des fouilles entre 1978 et 1979, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant une grande partie de la zone c\u00e9r\u00e9monielle et r\u00e9sidentielle. Ces recherches ont permis de reconstituer une p\u00e9riode peu connue de l'histoire du Michoac\u00e1n : une p\u00e9riode de transition apr\u00e8s la chute de Teotihuac\u00e1n et avant la fondation des clairement d\u00e9finies.\nLa premi\u00e8re, qui date d'environ 450 apr\u00e8s J.-C., marque le d\u00e9but de la colonisation.\nDurant cette p\u00e9riode, l'\u00e9conomie locale \u00e9tait bas\u00e9e sur l'agriculture, compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par la chasse et la p\u00eache.\nLes b\u00e2tisseurs ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 des plates-formes artificielles pour les temples et les structures civiles de l'\u00e9lite, tandis que les huttes du peuple \u00e9taient situ\u00e9es dans la zone environnante.   <\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">La deuxi\u00e8me phase, entre 600 et 900, montre une influence \u00e9vidente de Teotihuacan.\n\u00c0 cette \u00e9poque, l'architecture du site adopte des \u00e9l\u00e9ments caract\u00e9ristiques de la grande m\u00e9tropole, tels que le talud-tablero et les places en contrebas, alignant Tingambato sur d'autres centres contemporains tels que Tula et Xochicalco.\nCette similitude renforce la th\u00e9orie selon laquelle Tingambato a prosp\u00e9r\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la chute de Teotihuac\u00e1n.  <\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-family: Poppins;\"><strong>Patrimoine et architecture fun\u00e9raire de Teotihuacan<\/strong><\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">L'impact de la culture de Teotihuacan sur la M\u00e9soam\u00e9rique est ind\u00e9niable.\nSon apog\u00e9e, entre 100 et 575, a fait de Teotihuac\u00e1n un centre de pouvoir culturel, artistique et architectural.\nApr\u00e8s son effondrement, nombre de ses habitants ont \u00e9migr\u00e9, apportant avec eux leurs connaissances et leurs traditions, qui se refl\u00e8tent dans des sites tels que Tingambato.\nLa disposition des structures autour de places creus\u00e9es et la pr\u00e9sence d'un jeu de balle similaire \u00e0 de transition vers les phases ult\u00e9rieures de la seigneurie tarasconnaise. Des indices sugg\u00e8rent qu'\u00e0 la fin de son occupation, le site a subi un grand incendie, dont les traces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9es dans les fouilles arch\u00e9ologiques.
